Mommy's 1-year old!

Happy 1st Birthday Gracie!

Grandma brought over a new little bike for the birthday girl. Of course, we had to celebrate Grace's birthday out at the Mexican restaurant. Daddy is breaking her in good....she loved the fried ice cream too! What a big girl!

Merry Christmas!

The kids got lots of new toys from Santa this year. Matthew got a train table with tracks which he spends hours working on. Grace got a new kitchen that she doesn't quite know what to do with yet. Matthew also got the only puppy he'll ever have....his name is Spotty and he takes him for walks around the dining room table. Also, we found an old power wheel Chevrolet trashed in the backyard at Clint's brother's house. He said we could have it and Clint fixed up nice for Matthew, so he spent Christmas morning tearing up the backyard in his jammies! What fun!!

Crazy Cousins!

Matthew and Grace with their cousin, Jack (17 months old). We were trying to take beautiful Christmas photos and get the perfect Christmas card picture....yeah right! Not going to happen with these three! Action shots are great, right??

O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree...

The kids love helping to decorate or un-decorate the tree. I tried to get an action shot of our newest walker too!

Line 'em up!

I had a request for more of Matt's lines that he loves to make. Here are just a few examples.

Happy Halloween!

Matthew wore his Nemo costume for the second year in a row and Grace was Piglet. We went trick-or-treating downtown, then headed to a party our friends put on at their hotel for the community. There was pizza, a bounce house, music and dancing, ball toss, and Matthew' favorite, fishing for candy!! Grace had her first taste of cheese pizza tonight, since that's all that we had for her dinner. She loved it!

Here is a glimpse into daily life with Matthew and Grace. They are best pals and make each other laugh so much. They are so fun to be with, but very exhausting too. They definitely have their Dad's energy! Matthew goes to school (sool, as he calls it), one day a week, and loves to hang his jacket up right next to the teacher's and get right to work with the paints, trucks, whatever. The teacher tells me he is a "very happy boy". He has no problem leaving me, either. As soon as we pull into the parking lot, he says, "Bye, see ya Mom! See ya Geesie!"

Matthew hasn't worked in awhile, and we keep checking the monthly One Day Sale mailers to see his replacement....we're working on some good smiles and snapshots to get him camera-ready again. I guess it might help if I wiped the spaghetti sauce off his face...shoot! So much for these being sent to his agent. We think he's adorable, though!!
